Earlier this week, some may remember Hip Hop Vibe reporting about a surprise concert being planned by Jay-Z in New York City. On this date, Jay-Z is slated to appear on “The Late Show with David Letterman.” With July 8 being only four days after the release of Magna Carta Holy Grail, Jay-Z has big plans.

Jay-Z needed approval from Mayor Bloomberg to perform on the David Letterman marquee. As offensive has hip hop has been over the years, Jay-Z manages to maintain the best relationships with all the right people. At the end of the day, there is a mutual respect between Jay-Z and Mayor Bloomberg.

Both men are multimillionaires and they can’t knock each others’ hustles, no pun intended. Hustlers can see each others’ visions and Michael Bloomberg sees what Jay-Z plans to accomplish with the Magna Carta Holy Grail. Because of this, he approved the upcoming Jay-Z performance for July 8.
