Jay Z removes #TheBlueprint series from Spotify

Many people would have been happy just to reach the level of success that Jay Z had as a rapper. Needless to say, Jay Z helped Def Jam remain a force in the music industry. But, Jay Z wasn’t content with helping, he ran the label for three years, before moving on.

Jay Z is now the head of Roc Nation and he’s released his last two albums on that label. In addition to this, Jay Z runs TIDAL, a music streaming service akin to Spotify. The service has endured all types of struggles, but they reached 1 million subscribers.

Despite owning a rival service, Jay Z still has a lot of his music on Spotify. Most fans consider The Blueprint as Jay Z’s best album, while mixed reviews go to the sequels. The debate is ongoing, but it won’t be taking place on Spotify anymore, as he removed those albums from Spotify.
