Jay Z calls out Grammys for previous Beyoncé snubs
On Sunday night, Jay Z was honored at the 66th annual Grammys, in Los Angeles. There, he was given the Dr. Dre Impact Award, which was initially created in 2023.
Furthermore, Jay Z heavily went viral, during this Grammys speech. He spoke on he and Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy not needing to use their Grammy wins as sippy cups anymore, due to her now winning her own Grammys. Blue was also on stage with Jay, during this speech.
Moreover, Jay even decided to subliminally call out the Grammys for never giving Beyoncé an Album Of The Year award. This is in despite Bey being the most awarded Grammy winner of all-time, with 32. She has 88 nominations in total. Jay Z’s speech and him standing up for Beyoncé there went on to be loudly applauded by fans on social media, as many have been echoing the same sentiment, that she should’ve won a Grammy for Album Of The Year, many years ago.
