Though Watch the Throne was released last summer, the tracks from the album are beginning to generate radio play nearly a year later. “No Church in the Wild,” featuring Odd Future crooner, Frank Ocean, was recently released to the radio. Meanwhile, “Niggas in Paris” has dominated radio waves, and freestyles for websites, for months.

Last week, a teaser promoting a “Made in America” music video surfaced on the internet, leading many to question why a video was coming. Earlier today, things made a little more sense when it was revealed Jay-Z would be headlining a festival in Philadelphia. The event is being put together by Jay-Z’s partners, Live Nation.

“Made in America” is the name of the three-stage festival, which will showcase Philadelphia’s hip hop, rock, R&B, Latin, and dance music acts. All proceeds from the event will go to United Way, as they did during Jay-Z’s Carnegie Hall performance. The event is in partnership with Budweiser and will be held on September 1 and 2 at Ben Franklin Parkway in Fairmont Park.
