In launching TIDAL, Jay Z faced all kinds of challenges and hurdles. A major competitor launched in the midst of Jay Z doing TIDAL in the form of Apple Music. They immediately got Dr. Dre’s support, for the obvious reasons, and even snaked Drake from TIDAL.

However, Jay Z easily got Lil Wayne to join TIDAL, as he jumped at the chance to work with his idol. Now, there is a major business deal on the table, as Lil Wayne broke a TIDAL record his first time out. Last night, he did it again with the Lil Weezyana Fest.

It seems there is more hardship for Jay Z and TIDAL. Now, the struggles of Apple Music are becoming more evident, but they are making more problems for TIDAL. Because Drake, who is a partner in Apple Music, performed at a TIDAL event, the popular streaming service is facing a $20 million lawsuit.
