Jayson Tatum talks stepping up in a big game, being a “Big Game Player,” Celtics taking 3-2 lead over Cavs, and being one win from the #NBAFinals [VIDEO]

One thing the second half of this NBA season, and the playoffs, have shown is that the future is now. Aside from Donovan Mitchell breaking out, and Ben Simmons’ dominance, there is Jayson Tatum. More than any other team, the Celtics have proven what the future is.

Their veteran players, Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward missed the entire playoffs. While Al Horford remained on the team, he is definitely the third wheel in this new “Big 3,” led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. This unit has led Boston to a 3-2 lead over the Cavaliers.

Jayson Tatum spoke to the media, following Boston’s blowout win over the Cavs. The talk was about being a “big game player” and leading the Celtics to such a dominant win. While he is stunned that he’s one win from the NBA Finals, Tatum said the Celtics have to stay focused and get this next win.
