Jazmine Sullivan cancels upcoming “The Heaux Tales” tour dates, after testing positive for COVID-19

Jazmine Sullivan had a huge 2021, as she continued to show why she’s one of the best artists in R&B. She released her “Heaux Tales” album, which debuted at number four, on the Billboard 200 chart.

Heaux Tales contained 14 tracks, as it was led by the singles “Girl Like Me,” ft. H.E.R., “Pick Up Your Feelings,” and “Lost One.” Ari Lennon and Anderson .Paak were also featured. On the album’s deluxe edition, “Heaux Tales, Mo’ Tales,” 10 additional tracks were released.

Sullivan has also been on her “The Heaux Tales Tour,” but now, upcoming dates have to be canceled. This is due to a recent positive COVID-19 test. Sullivan’s concerts over the next week are expected to be scrapped.

“My doctor confirmed today that I’m positive with Covid. I am taking every precaution to isolate myself,” Sullivan said, on Instagram. “I’m truly sad to have to cancel more shows but health and safety come first for myself, my team, and all of you. LA’s show tomorrow will unfortunately be cancelled and we are likely cancelling shows for the next week based on my condition and the condition of my crew.”

Hopefully, Sullivan’s diagnosis isn’t a concerning situation, and she is able to get back on the road, soon. This tour has seen sold out crowds, and solid performances from the singer.

Sullivan is also nominated for three Grammy awards, In April. She is in the categories of Best R&B Album, Best Song, and Best R&B Performance. The ceremony is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas.
