Six years have passed since Jeezy last had a hit single. His subsequent albums, Jeezy have said that he is putting out for him, not necessarily to make hits. This is because, earlier in his career, Jeezy had hits, and was among the top five, in terms of popularity.
Jeezy, since 2014, has released an album every year, with the exception of last year. Returning with TM104, Jeezy said this was his final installment of this album series. Fans took it to mean Jeezy was retiring from rap to focus on his family and business interests.
Recently, Jeezy stopped by Hot 97, speaking with Ebro, Laura Stylez, and Rosenberg. First things first, Jeezy tackled the retirement rumors, telling them he never said he was retiring. Talking business, Jeezy discussed Jay-Z, his tech ventures, and his new relationship (Jeannie Mai).
