Jeezy turned 43 today as hip-hop celebrated his legendary career. The Atlanta rapper has been making headlines over the past year for dating and proposing to “The Real” host, Jeannie Mai. He also released his “Twenty/20 Pyrex Vision” EP in March.

Jeezy took to his social media feeds today to wish himself a happy birthday and also announced another huge accomplishment. He will have his own show on FOX Soul titled “Worth a Conversation.” He says this will be centered on talking about issues that “directly affect my culture and it’s people.”

Worth a Conversation will premiere on October 14 at 10pm ET. Jeezy is bringing his full name into the show as he’ll be introduced as Jay Jenkins. He also teased a sequel for his classic 2008 “The Recession” album earlier this month but no release date has been set yet.
