Jeezy files for divorce from Jeannie Mai 

Jeezy and Jeannie Mai had been a couple since 2018, back when they first started dating. Furthermore, the two went on to become a married couple in the spring of 2021. At the time, the two had a small ceremony in Atlanta, with close friends and family. Moreover, the two also went on to welcome their first child, in January 2022.

However, Jeezy and Jeannie’s marriage is now ending. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Jeezy filed for divorce in Fulton County Superior Court on Thursday. In regards to their daughter, the rapper is seeking joint custody. He and Jeezy also have a prenup signed.

This divorce also comes as Jeezy recently released his new “Adversity For Sale” book. He detailed his rise in his career, as well as plenty of obstacles that were in his way, on the road to his success. Jeezy’s recently been having launch events for this book, including in his hometown of Atlanta. T.I. and Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens even joined him for a panel at the Atlanta launch event.

Last fall, Jeezy also put out his “Snofall” mixtape with DJ Drama. 17 songs were released, and included collaborations with EST Gee and 42 Dugg.
