Over the past couple of years, Jeezy has gone through many transitions that led to a new sound in music and a name change. After getting into a public spat with Def Jam on Twitter, Jeezy moved on. Given his new position with Atlantic Records, Jeezy may soon begin putting out music on that label.
Early in his career, Jeezy was embroiled in controversy with several other rappers in the game. In recent years, Jeezy ended up being brought back into some of the issues with other rappers. But, the latest situation involving Jeezy does not involve a rap foe, instead it involves family.
Jeezy turned himself in on Friday and is out on a $45,000 bail. The arrest happened after Jeezy got into a fight with his own son in a bathroom, where he choked him and threatened to kill him. TMZ obtained the information and learned Jeezy’s son hit his head during the fight and that the Atlanta rapper is also facing false imprisonment charges.
