The month of December is great for the hip hop heads of the early and the mid-2000s. On December 15, Eminem and Jeezy are preparing to release new albums. As mixtapes and other projects have become a more popular way of releasing music, Jeezy is an album guy.
A few years ago, there was a debate about the next “album a year rapper,” to which Jadakiss said he would be. But, if there is a rapper who has lived up to this, it has been Jeezy. Following two three year gaps between albums, he’s dropped an album every year since 2014.
Jeezy is preparing to close 2017 with Pressure and he is going all out with his new release. This evening, Jeezy released the track listing for his new album. The project boasts features from two of the game’s top young lyricists, in J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar, along with YG, Kodak Black, Tory Lanez, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Tee Grizzley, and more.
