Jeezy meets Barack Obama at Democratic rally in Atlanta
This past weekend, a Democratic rally was held outside of Atlanta, in support of candidates Stacey Abrams and Raphael Warnock. Abrams is looking to become the Governor of Georgia, as she was defeated by Brian Kemp, in 2018. Warnock is defending his Senate seat, against Herschel Walker.
Former President Barack Obama also spoke at this rally, at College Park, at the Gateway Center. He gave plenty of support towards Warnock and Abrams, and emphasized that they’re the right ones for Georgia.
Other celebrities were in attendance at this rally as well, including Jeezy. Jeezy has since taken to social media to reveal that he finally met Obama. In his caption, he said “If this doesn’t motivate you nothing will #SNOFALL.” In 2008, Jeezy also released his “My President” single, featuring Nas, which showed Obama support, prior to him winning the presidential election, that October. That record is still iconic, to this day.
A week and a half ago, Jeezy also released his “Snofall” mixtape, with DJ Drama. This went on to debut at number nine, on the Billboard 200 chart.
