A few months ago, Jeezy made headlines when he released the “Holy Ghost” remix, which was during the Seen It All release and promo run. He featured Kendrick Lamar on the remix and the song included a sample from T.D. Jakes. Surprisingly, T.D. Jakes filed a lawsuit against Jeezy over the use of his vocals on the track.
Jeezy found it surprising, as the song was never released for retail. The original version of the “Holy Ghost” single was sold with the album, however. But, the remix was something just dropped by Jeezy to further hype the album and to link him and Kendrick Lamar up, once again.
Recently, Jeezy talked to VladTV’s Jenny Boom Boom and they had a lengthy discussion about several topics. Among the things talked about was Jeezy’s lawsuit that he faces from the popular pastor, T.D. Jakes. He expressed his surprise about the lawsuit during their discussion.
