Popular comedian, Jerrod Carmichael, is a North Carolina native. He used his standup popularity to land himself a sitcom. The journey wasn’t that simple, but Carmichael does have “The Carmichael Show,” which airs on NBC.

Jerrod Carmichael has received some comparisons to “Martin” with his sitcom. His show tackles some of the relationship issues, in the present day, much like how Martin (Lawrence) and Gina (Tisha Campbell) did, twenty years ago. The fans are waiting on season three from him, now.

Recently, Jerrod Carmichael and Lil Rel stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” speaking with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. During the interview he spoke on “The Carmichael Show” and it’s success. He also spoke on when season three would begin airing.
