Since the early 2000s, Jhene Aiko and Mila J have made moves in the music industry. Back then, they were closely affiliation with the TUG crew, consisting of Marques Houston, Omarion, IMX, and B2K. In fact, they marketed Jhene Aiko as Lil Fizz, which she was not, biologically.
Jhene Aiko, however, did not rise to notoriety until 2011, when she showed up songs with TDE. Then, it wasn’t until the summer of 2014 that she became a star in her own right. She dropped “The Worst,” from her Sail Out EP (2013), leading into her Souled Out album (2014).
A few years ago, Jhene Aiko found love, marrying Dot Da Genius, a producer who works closely with Kid Cudi. Last year, weeks after they wed, they broke up and Jhene Aiko began dating Big Sean, another close friend of Kid Cudi, but that romance nearly killed their friendship. She remains with Sean and divorced Dot, making it official, today.
