Jhené Aiko named Mental Health Is Wealth Ambassador in Los Angeles

Jhené Aiko is viewed by many, as one of the bets R&B/soul artists out. She released many solid projects, singles, and also features, over the past decade. She is also a huge name, in her hometown of Los Angeles.

Recently, Aiko was honored as a 2022 Mental Health is Wealth Ambassador, by the City of Los Angeles, as well as Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services. Aiko explained how music helped her get through struggles in life, as well as wanted to help others get past their struggles.

“When I started to write and do music, it was my personal therapy to help me get through things. I found that turning my pain and suffering into some form of art, transforming it into art, really helped me get through it. It helped me to realize that the reason why I do what I do is to help others get through what they’re going through.”

Aiko had a huge performance in February in LA, as she performed “America The Beautiful,” at Super Bowl LVI. This was at SoFi Stadium, in nearby Inglewood.
