Late last year, Jhene Aiko first began to experience mainstream success, with the release of her Sail Out EP. Early in 2014, Jhene Aiko had breakthrough success with her “The Worst” single, which was one of the year’s first hit. With the summer now being over, Jhene Aiko released her debut album on Def Jam.
Jhene Aiko’s album, Souled Out, is filled with hip hop collaborations and it embraces her rise in the game. The Los Angeles singer has experienced all types of success and all types of rumors. There is often a lot said about Drake and his love life and Jhene Aiko was once rumored to be his girlfriend.
This morning, Jhene Aiko stopped by Power 105.1 to talk to “The Breakfast Club.” The audience of Revolt TV also woke up to Jhene Aiko speaking to Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy. She discussed showering, Def Jam, motherhood, rumors about both Drake and Childish Gambino, and much more.
