On March 6, Jhené Aiko released her third studio album, ‘Chilombo.’ One of the biggest records to come out of this project was “B.S.” featuring H.E.R., which soon became a single. This ended up doing very well as it reached No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

BS continues to hold its momentum in 2020 as it has now been certified plaitnum by the RIAA in the US, according to Chart Data. This is after selling 1 million units. The Chilombo album as a whole has since gone gold. It also did very well commercially as it debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The Chilombo deluxe edition was released on July 17 and it featured the remix to B.S. with Kehlani. Fans have since rejoiced both versions of the song as it’s recognized as one of Aiko’s best songs to date. She was originally supposed to go on her ‘The Major Hour Tour’ to promote the Chilombo album but like many tours/festivals, it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
