Before he was a rapper, primarily, Jim Jones was the businessman of the Diplomats, Cam’ron’s crew. However, he did do his ad-libs on several of the tracks. By 2006, Jim Jones emerged as a star, in his own right, lyrically taking Jay-Z on.
Fast forward to 2017, Jim Jones is under Roc Nation’s management, and helped end Jay-Z and Cam’ron’s long-standing beef. All of this happened at TIDAL’s B-Sides concert. Now, Jim Jones is one of the hardest-working rappers in the game.
Last week, Jim Jones showed up at Hot 97, when he and Nessa sat down. The interview started with him announcing his and Cam’ron’s joint album. But, he would also discuss being a man, an example to his son, his current mindstate, learning from his mistakes, and much more.
