Back in 2006, it would have been hard to imagine Jim Jones doing anything with Jay Z besides insulting him. Some found Jones’ tactics annoying, but it made him into a household name. Along with his frequent insults was “We Fly High,” his major hit single.
Jim Jones would continue taunting Jay Z on the record, despite having features from many allies of Hov. Even after Dipset endured their own breakup, Jim Jones still targeted Jay Z. But, in recent years, he also seemed in admiration of the business mogul.
Since joining Roc Nation, Jim Jones would discuss how everything came together. Obviously, Jim Jones is now on Jay Z’s team, but TMZ wanted to know how it came together. During this interview, Jim would reveal he and Jay Z have yet to speak.
