Jim Jones responds to Pusha T with diss record

A conversation ranking rappers has turned into an unexpected feud. Jim Jones gets behind the mic in a new diss recod directed at Pusha T. The record is a follow up to Pusha T’s new single played at the Louis Vuitton fashion show last week. During the show, the unreleased track played as models walked down the runway. Speculation around the lyrics led fans to believe the song was a diss to Jim Jones. With videos from the show circulating online, Jim Jones responds to Pusha T with his own From The Block version of the single. Using a similar beat to Pusha T, Jim Jones references Pusha T’s brother and his comparison to Jay Z throughout the song.

The feud between Pusha T and Jim Jones is a sudden shock within the rap world. This feud started earlier in April, when Jim Jones appeared on RapCaviar podcast debating Billboard’s the Top 50 MC List. Amongst those listed were Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Nicki Minaj, 50 Cent and Pusha T landing at number twenty-nine on the list. During the interview Jim Jones spoke about why Pusha T shouldn’t be on the list stating, “He’s nice as sh*t. He could rap his ass off, but what has he done?”

Although no immediate response was made by Pusha T, his new single is a clear message. Jim Jones From The Block performance which he calls “Fly B*tch,”took place in his city of New York as he took shots at the “Mercy” artist. The diss track is already at 359k views since its release.
