Once the Slaughterhouse promotional run ended, Joe Budden jumped back into his solo career and began focusing on his next move. Soon, Joe Budden revealed he had a new mixtape in the works. A Loose Quarter was the name of the mixtape that Joe Budden marketed over the next few weeks.

After setting a release date for A Loose Quarter, Joe Budden wound up releasing the project sooner than expected. A Loose Quarter ended up being released on Thanksgiving day, the same day Fabolous released The S.O.U.L. Tape 2. On the day Joe Budden released his mixtape, he announced No Love Lost, his third studio album.

Joe Budden said his album would be released in January. With many big names in the game dropping albums in January, the addition of Joe Budden made the month stacked. But, as what will likely be the case with several other January releases, Joe Budden has delayed his new album. There is currently no set release date for the new album.
