A mixtape legend, Joe Budden turned to the underground hip hop scene when he had no way to put out music. It did not help when Def Jam was being operated by a fellow rapper, who he was involved in a beef with. Joe Budden united with Joell Ortiz, Crooked I, and Royce da 5-9 to form Slaughterhouse and is back on the mixtape scene.
Joe Budden is four days away from releasing his latest mixtape, A Loose Quarter. With his latest mixtape on the way, Joe Budden has been making his rounds. Considered one of the biggest rappers in mixtape history, Joe Budden has several classics under his belt. Some feel his upcoming project, A Loose Quarter, will be another classic.
OnSmash currently has a new series, “Tale of the Tape,” which chronicles some of the latest mixtapes in the game. During a recent trip to New York City, Joe Budden sat down with OnSmash to discuss his upcoming mixtape. Joe Budden ended up also speaking on his upcoming appearance on VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop.”
