Easter is approaching this weekend and it will be different than in years past with the coronavirus pandemic. People sadly won’t be in churches due to fear of the spread of this virus. Joel Osteen is still trying to find a way to bring a good service though, courtesy of his huge Lakewood Church in Houston.

According to TMZ, he will be bringing Kanye West, Mariah Carey and Tyler Perry to do a virtual service. They will be preaching on messages about love during this difficult time in the world. Carey will be doing a tribute to medical professionals and first responders as she will be singing “Hero.”

West will bring out his Sunday Service choir to perform as they will be broadcasted from Los Angeles. Perry will also be speaking on remaining positive during this pandemic and likely the importance of staying home and social distancing right now. This should definitely be a very interesting event as Osteen brought West to his church in 2019 as well. Many events will be conducted virtually this month such as the NFL and WNBA Draft. Hopefully, things go somewhat back to normal here in May.
