In 2010, Drake was touted as the next big thing and he reached out to the legends for his debut album. On “Light Up,” Jay-Z rapped this line, explaining how the game goes and over the past week, Joey Bada$$ received a crash course.
There have been a lot of rappers to emerge over the past couple of years, providing much new energy. Joey Bada$$ and Lil B are among them, with Joey receiving praise because many feel he can revitalize the game and Lil B is comic relief. But, these lines became blurred when Lil B dissed Joey Bada$$, which has resulted in a Twitter beef.
Joey Bada$$ has a lot of big things on the table, including being the creative director for Ecko, meanwhile Lil B is an “internet rapper.” With things going well, Joey Bada$$ separated himself from the negativity and deactivated his Twitter. Now, Joey Bada$$ can refocus his energy on making music.
