John Gotti III suspended from boxing after Floyd Mayweather fight

John Gotti III participated in a drama-filled exhibition boxing match with Floyd Mayweather. The match was supposed to be fun and a way to make some extra money. It ended with one of the Gotti granddaughters threatening Floyd’s daughter. As a result, some people are saying this was way too much. After the boxing match, Gotti III got upset and began to try to really fight Floyd. Now, the State of Florida is having its say. For six months, Gotti III is not allowed to box in the state.

John Gotti III is the grandson of the infamous John Gotti. However, he is not a part of the family business. Instead, he went in the complete opposite direction. Currently, Gotti III is making his name in the world of mixed martial arts. When the chance to do a boxing match with Floyd Mayweather arose, Gotti took it. During his professional career, Mayweather went 50-0. He came out of retirement to take on Conor McGregor, the UFC’s biggest name. After that, he was 51-0.

John Gotti III, based off his name alone, created a lot of hype surrounding his exhibition boxing match with Floyd Mayweather, Jr. As a businessman, Floyd takes on all kinds of opportunities to make money. He does exhibition boxing for the protection of his professional record. As a result, Floyd has ended up in the ring with all kinds of people. With Gotti III, Floyd was on his way to another win. That’s when things got heated. Now, Florida has suspended Gotti III from boxing for six months.
