Ask any Washington Wizards player and they ‘clare out that there’s no rivalry with the Atlanta Hawks. But, the Hawks are the team they know they could’ve beaten but didn’t. After injuries screwed them out of last year’s playoffs, it was poetic justice they drew Atlanta again.

Behind the efforts of John Wall, the Washington Wizards rebounded to a 49-33 record, their best in thirty, plus, years. The Wizards captured the fourth seed and went hard at the Hawks. Tonight, John Wall came into the game intending on closing the series out.

Delivering 42 points, 8 assists, and 4 steals, John Wall reached his goals and is back in the second round. Along the way, he gave a pretty sick crossover against the Hawks, while ending their season in a 115-99 rout. The fans on Twitter are saying people need to stop sleeping on John Wall, because dude is better than Steph Curry.
