Moments like what John Wall just gave to us is what makes good players great players. Even in the early part of his career, there was no question that John Wall wasn’t a good player. It just took him so long to finally make the playoffs.

To his credit, John Wall has never lost in the first round, but his team, the Wizards, never survived a Game 6 in the second round. It takes a great player to turn that around. So, not only did John Wall establish himself as a great player, he gave Charles Barkley a reason to smile.

John Wall had a big message for the city of DC and the Celtics. In his post-game interview with Lisa Salters, Wall let the Celtics know what was up. After his 0-9 shooting start, Wall told them to never come to his city wearing white like it’s a funeral.
