Tonight, the Wizards finally manned up and closed the Celtics out. A lot of it had to do with them being back in DC, instead of Boston, too. The home crowd makes a big difference when it comes to the NBA Playoffs, because the crowd won’t sit down.
John Wall is the leader of the Washington Wizards and he played out of his mind in Boston. But, for every crazy game Wall had, Isaiah Thomas went insane, and beat him. Tonight made it where no team has won on the road against the other, but Boston is no longer undefeated away.
After the game, John Wall did the post-game conference. He talked about how physical the game was and finally shutting Isaiah Thomas down. During the interview, he spoke on the Celtics’ rivalry, avoiding going down 3-1, and maintaining their lead.
