Jonathan Majors arrested after allegedly assaulting woman

Jonathan Majors is currently one of the most trending actors in the industry. This comes after he started with Michael B. Jordan in “Creed III,” which was released earlier this month. Majors played the role of Adonis Creed’s childhood friend, who went on to box him, in a world title fight. That came after spending over 15 years in prison, and then quickly training to become one of the best boxers, and as a result, fighting Creed.

However, Majors is now in some concerning legal trouble. According to TMZ, he was arrested in New York City this weekend. The this was allegedly due to assaulting a woman near the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. Majors was arrested on Saturday morning, around 11AM, on charges of strangulation, assault and harassment.

This incident was allegedly caused by an argument that Majors had, with the woman. As a result, she sustained injuries such as a laceration behind her ear, redness and marks to her face. Therefore, she was also treated at a local hospital, and is said to currently be in stable condition.

Majors ended up being taken to jail as well, due to probable cause of the assault. But, he is reportedly out of custody now. A rep for the actor has since denied that he committed any crimes.

“He’s done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.”
