Jonathan Majors found guilty of assault and harassment involving ex-girlfriend

A verdict has just been ruled in Jonathan Majors’ high profile assault case, involving his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. This is in regards to a night in New York City in March, where he and Jabbari got into an altercation inside of a taxi, after Jabbari accused the actor of texting another woman.
As a result, Majors has now been found guilty of assault in the third degree, as well as harassment. However, he wasn’t found guilty for one of the counts in assault in the third degree and not guilty of aggravated harassment in second degree, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Furthermore, footage went on to be revealed last week of Majors attempting to flee the altercation, after it began. Jabbari went on to sustain injuries of a laceration behind her ear, as well as a bruised and fractured finger. Surveillance footage went on to capture her at a nightclub in NYC that night, though.
That same evening also saw her coming back to Majors’ home and passing out, as he went on to call police for her. However, she went on to explain how she’d been assault, and an arrest was soon made, in the early hours of the next day.
Moreover, Majors was also accompanied to court by his girlfriend and actress, Meagan Good. The two surprisingly began dating in the spring, shortly after this case began. Good went on to receive plenty of backlash on social media for this, due to the belief that she shouldn’t be with an abuser. However, she’s stuck with him since, including at court appearances. As a result, Majors will be sentenced on February 6. He could face a full year in prison, or probation.
