Jordan Poole was once a breakout star for the Golden State Warriors. This was a key reason why the Warriors won the 2022 championship. However, this same fact is the reason that Golden State didn’t come close to the Finals in 2023. As a result, Poole was traded to the Wizards. Stephen Curry said the trade would be much needed for the Warriors and for Poole. While he’s had big games in DC, he’s also had blunders. His lob to Kyle Kuzma led to the Hawks’ crowd booing him, last night.

Jordan Poole had been touted as a “steal” for the Warriors. Despite being a late draft pick, he honed his skills in the G League. In addition, he joined the franchise in the post-Kevin Durant year. During that time, the Warriors were the NBA’s worst team. As a result, Jordan Poole got a lot of playing time, which built his confidence. So, as Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson rebounded from their injuries, Poole became an X factor.

Jordan Poole got traded to the Washington Wizards, this summer. Now, he’s being given the chance to spread his wings and become a star in his own right. Last night, the Wizards visited the Atlanta Hawks, and got blown out. When the Hawks had a 21 point lead over the Wizards, Jordan Poole thew a lob off the backboard to Kyle Kuzma. As a result, the Hawks’ crowd began booing Poole, seeing how he did this while his team was getting blown out.
