Anyone who didn’t catch “Star” missed out on the best new show on television. From the looks of early comments online, some fans weren’t happy with “Empire” being moved for its finale for “Star’s” premiere. It is all in the family, though.
“Star” has the advantage of being the second show and learning from mistakes made with “Empire,” early on. While celebrity guest appearances were big, they were all “blink and you miss it.” The brief cameo of Terrence Howard, bringing Lucious Lyon over, was like that.
Another celebrity cameo was Joseline Hernandez, who was playing a stripper. Ironically, the biggest moment in her career came after she returned to her strip club roots. Fans, especially “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” fans loved it, joking that Stevie J finally sent her back to the strip club.
