During this time of the year, television sets are glued to ESPN, TNT, and ABC on Sunday afternoons. NBA TV also receives a major spike in ratings, as the NBA Playoffs take place every spring and it has not disappointed this year. However, the New York Knicks have in both the first and second round.
Fans of the New York Knicks were excited to have their team back in the playoffs for a third consecutive year and to have them past the first round since 2000. Previously, there were rumors about JR Smith being out clubbing. A photo surfaced of JR Smith hanging out with French Montana and Lloyd Banks.
In addition to the photo, Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club tweeted JR Smith being in attendance in the club the night before the Knicks played the Indiana Pacers. When their favorite team loses, fans tend to make up excuses about why their team lost. JR Smith understands this, but said he was not out clubbing when he addressed it on Twitter.
