In 2024, JT has had an impressive start to her career as a solo artist. In January, she dropped off her “Okay” single, which garnered a lot of praise on social media. Furthermore, in late April, the former City Girls rapper also put out her next solo single, “Okay,” which also gained a lot of buzz on social media. At the time, JT was also venturing on her first solo tour.

Meanwhile, JT’s Okay single has reached another milestone with her Okay single. It is now at gold eligibility in the US, after selling over 500,000 units in the US, according to Chart Data. This comes after peaking at number 72 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Furthermore in June, JT put out her Okay remix, which also featured the legendary Jeezy. Jeezy was in high demand for the remix, as the instrumental is similar to many Jeezy instrumentals of the 2000s. This remix went on to appear on JT’s debut solo mixtape, “City Cinderella,” in mid-July.

This month, JT is also kicking off her City Cinderella Tour. This will begin on August 20, in Kansas City, MO. The tour will conclude on September 22, in Los Angeles.
