Over the past twenty years, Judge Greg Mathis has made himself into a household name. When the court-TV shows took off, Judge Mathis was one of the first ones with a show. Years later, he is one of the most-popular TV judges, behind Judge Judy, of course.
Judge Mathis has become a major figure in entertainment and pop culture, in general. Earlier this year, Aretha Franklin died, and she is from his native, Detroit. This allows him to provide a take that most people wouldn’t have.
Recently, Judge Mathis visited Shade 45, speaking to Sway on his morning show, “Sway In The Morning.” The interview began with him speaking on Aretha Franklin. As a judge, he also gave his take on the justice system, and much more.
