Everything about this Jussie Smollett situation is a mess. Not too long ago, Jussie Smollett was considered one of TV’s rising stars. Granted, his role on “Empire” had diminished since the groundbreaking first season, but Jussie Smollett, himself, remained popular.
Jussie Smollett now lives in infamy, as it seems as though his entire attack was staged. With it looking like he was the one behind his own attack, after going on “Good Morning America,” he comes off as untrustworthy. Now, Smollett is facing charges of his own.
This afternoon, Jussie Smollett arrived at the Chicago courthouse for his hearing. It’s being said that he doesn’t legally have to be there, but volunteered himself to go. Then, there are rumors that “Empire” could be cancelled, due to Jussie Smollett’s alleged antics.
