“Empire” star, Jussie Smollett, made major news, this afternoon, when the charges against him were dropped. Whatever happened with his alleged attack made the actor look very bad. The actor ended up facing charges and “Empire” suffered from low ratings.

Jussie Smollett appears to have been vindicated, as his supporters always believed in him. But, there are also those who believe that something isn’t right about this. Among them is Rahm Emanuel, the mayor of Chicago, the city where the alleged attack took place.

Being acquitted was great news for Jussie Smollett, but Rahm Emanuel is disappointed by it. He, along with the Chicago Police Department chief, are not pleased with how things turned out. Mayor Emanuel, himself, called it a “whitewash of justice.”
