Hands down, Jussie Smollett is the breakout star of 2015. Prior to this, he was known as one of the Smollett siblings and work he did as a child star. But, he was the breakout star of “Empire,” the breakout show of the last television season.
Jussie Smollett won people over and melted hearts as Jamal. He managed to win even more when he showed that he was a talented musician. These were the talents he brought to the NAACP Image Awards tonight.
Last night, Jussie Smollett talked to Hip Hop Vibe at our NAACP red carpet coverage. Tonight, Jussie Smollett won over fans for his tribute to John Legend, the Presidents Award winner. The fans on Twitter had a lot to say about his scene stealing performance tonight.
