From the beginning, people had their suspicions about Jussie Smollett, when news about his attack became widespread. No doubt, the current state of the nation made it not too shocking that a person could be attacked just for being them. But, Jussie’s details were way too fuzzy.
Then, the rants that Jussie Smollett went on, after the attack, were just bizarre. He had the video where he called himself the “gay Tupac,” which is how Charlamagne described his “Empire” character, Jamal, after season one. Too many things seemed scripted, to many people.
Yesterday, police reports concluded that Jussie Smollett staged his attack. The two men accused of doing it, “Empire” extras, later spoke to law enforcement, and said they were paid by Smollett to fake the attack, which has the actor under investigation. Now, Twitter is roasting him with #JussieSmollettHoax.
