Two years ago, the world was swept away by “Bieber fever,” as Justin Bieber won over the hearts of pre-teenage girls around the world. Many male critics of “the Bieb” had a lot of negative things to say about him. Showing none of it mattered, Justin Bieber continued to release hit records.

Currently promoting his second album, Believe, Justin Bieber has become more of a rapper than a pop singer. From the very beginning, Justin Bieber worked with many hip hop artists, such as Ludacris and Raekwon. Now, his music has begun to reflect the same hip hop influence in his own lyrics.

Justin Bieber, who is managed by Usher, has been accepted by many rappers. Boxing has longtime been one of the unofficial sports of hip hop, with boxer, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. spending much of his time with 50 Cent. While there are many rappers who have problems with 50 Cent, they can all agree on their admiration for Mayweather. Last night, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. won his match over Miguel Cotto. Following his win, the popular boxer was greeted with congratulations from best friend, 50 Cent, his rival Lil Wayne, and Justin Bieber.

In 2007, 50 Cent began taking shots at Lil Wayne, who had risen to the top of the rap game and had recorded with Ja Rule. Lil Wayne, focused on releasing Tha Carter III, ignored disses from 50 Cent until after the album was released. Taking subliminal shots at 50 Cent led to 50 taking more direct shots at Lil Wayne. However, disses from Rick Ross aimed at 50 Cent and then the decline in his popularity led to the series of disses aimed at Lil Wayne going nowhere.

Last night, any apparent beef between 50 Cent and Lil Wayne was over as the Young Money chief hugged 50 Cent on his way to congratulating Floyd Mayweather, Jr. on his win.
