On Thursday, Kanye West had the world on notice, with his “Donda” album listening event, in Atlanta. This was at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, as fans waited for the official midnight release of the album. That release on streaming outlets didn’t end up happening, as many believed that it’d be out sometime on July 23.
Donda still isn’t here, and an official new release date has yet to be finalized. Now, there is apparently an update from Instagram meme comedian, Justin LaBoy, who was in Las Vegas with Kanye last week.
Justin said on Twitter, that August 6 is now the new date for Donda. He explained how Kanye supposedly told him that he wants to be patient with this release, and not rush the album.
“KANYE WEST WILL MOVE THE RELEASE DATE OF DONDA TO AUGUST 6TH. THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE HE WANTS TO GIVE HIS FANS THE BEST POSSIBLE PRODUCT WITHOUT RUSHING ANYTHING. HE LOVES YALL WITH ALL OF HIS HEART. GOD BLESS. #DONDA #RESPECTFULLY.”
Fans definitely hope that after August 6, there will be no more delays for Donda. This album was initially supposed to be out on July 24 of last year.
