Lee Daniels created the wave that swept the nation in 2015 with “Empire” finally coming to life. A self-proclaimed soap opera, “Empire” stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson. Also, Trai Byers, Jussie Smollett, and Bryshere Gray, have had breakout success.
“Empire” has done well with celebrity cameos and roles. This season has Kelly Rowland as a regular. Meanwhile, Sway, Chris Rock, Al Sharpton, Ludacris, Don Lemon, Petey Pablo, and more have guest starred.
Next week, “Empire” is preparing to introduce a character named Skye Summers. Because of her name and her style, it is easy to compare her to Justine Skye, which the singer did. She called “Empire” out on Instagram and said she deserves a check, later deleting the post.
