Since the late 1990s, Juvenile has become one of the most iconic rappers to come out of New Orleans. At the time, he was also part of the Hot Boys group with Lil Wayne, Birdman, Turk and B.G. Moreover, in the summer of 1999, Juvenile scored the biggest hit of his career, with “Back That Azz Up.” As a result, it went on to peak at number 19, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Meanwhile, Juvenile is now celebrating 25 years of this iconic hit single. On Wednesday, he announced his Back That Azz Up 25th Anniversary Tour. This also comes after Juvenile thanked fans for making his NPR Tiny Desk performance happen, last summer. The opening day of the tour will be held on July 7, in his hometown of New Orleans.
Juvenile’s Back That Azz Up 25th Anniversary Tour will last until December 31, where it’ll return to New Orleans. Public on-sale tickets will be available on June 14, at 10am local time. Presale tickets are available now. Moreover, fans can DM Juvenile the word “tour,” to get links sent, when the tickets go live.
