Juwan Howard is suspended for the rest of the season after fight
What Juwan Howard has done with Michigan State, over the past few years, is incredible. He has turned Michigan State’s men’s basketball team into a winning program. The Wolverines are holding the first seed for the first time since 1993. Back then, Juwan Howard was playing for the team.
Unfortunately, all of the good work Juwan Howard has done will be overshadowed by the fight, this weekend. In the heat of the moment, Juwan Howard lost his cool, and swung on the opposing coach. In the postgame press conference, Juwan Howard spoke on this, saying he didn’t like the man touching him.
Juwan Howard expressed regrets over his actions, saying it was the heat of the moment. Despite how good of a job Juwan Howard has done coaching Michigan State, he has been suspended. While they are calling Juwan Howard’s suspension a five game suspension, there are only five games left in the season. This means that Juwan Howard has effectively been suspended for the rest of the season, just as Michigan has taken over the first seed. Howard has not spoken since the news of his suspension.
