Since 2013, K Camp has been one of Atlanta’s most underrated rappers. He initially went viral in early 2014, with his “Cut Her Off” single, featuring 2 Chainz. That was initially released in December 2013, and went on to peak at number 49 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Cut Her Off is also platinum in the US.

In spring 2014, K Camp gained even more recognition, with his “In Due Time” EP. That project contained several more hits, such as “Money Baby” featuring Kwony Ca$h and “Turn Up The Night” featuring B.o.B.

Camp has since consistenly released plenty of EPs mixtapes, and albums over the course of the last seven years. These include his “FLOAT” album in 2021, and his “Vibe Forever” album, from 2022.

However, in a new interview with the Mr. Jay Hill Show, Camp denied claims from many critics that he supposedly fell off. For himself, he trusted his own process and pace.

“I heard all that sh*t. Don’t no artist wanna hear that they fell off. But you got to understand, what’s the definition of falling off. N****s use that term so loosely. What is falling off? Falling off to me is f*cked up somewhere under a bridge with no paper, with a box saying: ‘Can I get some food?’ That’s falling off.”

“When n****s speak in the aspect of falling off in music, like they don’t hear you on the radio, they don’t see you visually, it’s not falling off. Every player got an off-season … You got to go back to practice, you got to go out and get back in the gym and get your skill set up and come back out.”
