K Camp talks hometown, XXL Freshman cover, Slum Lords, new album, and more with “The Breakfast Club” [VIDEO]

Last summer, K Camp turned heads with “Cut Her Off,” featuring 2 Chainz, as it became the first hit of the summer. With his buzz high, many people began paying more attention to K Camp and his music. During this time period, K Camp signed to Interscope Records.

Since then, K Camp has continued working on his debut album, which he hopes to release this summer. In the meantime, K Camp has pushed his own movement, Slum Lords. There is a lot going on with K Camp, including him being on the XXL Freshman cover.

K Camp stopped by Power 105.1 to talk to Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God, as DJ Envy was absent. During the interview, K Camp talked about his real hometown of Milwaukee and his current city of Atlanta. He went onto discuss being on the XXL Freshman cover, his Slum Lords movement, and determining the title for his album.
