In 2016, K. Michelle abruptly left “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” and all reality TV, for the final time. This decision meant “My Life,” her own reality show, was also cancelled. Many were confused on why K decided to leave the platform that made her a star.

Recently, K. Michelle spoke out about all of this, and how it all happened so quickly. Because of the lack of support for her last album, K. Michelle spoke out. She blamed her label for forcing her out of VH1, where she built a solid platform to promote her music.

This afternoon, K. Michelle found herself in the middle of rumors about her returning to the “Love & Hip Hop” franchise. These rumors claimed that K. Michelle was returning as “co-owner” of the franchise, which sounds absurd, because TV shows have no “owners,” only producers. But, Mona Scott-Young and K. Michelle dismissed these claims.
