K. Michelle Says Her Team Refused To Let Her Go Visit O-Block Neighborhood of Chicago

O Block, the neighborhood on the south side of Chicago, has been very popular in hip-hop. Some of the city’s biggest stars in the genre, such as Lil Durk, Chief Keef, the late King Von, grew up there. Many have since been wanting to check that neighborhood out, including other celebrities.

One celeb in general here, is K. Michelle. She recently took to Twitter to say that she wanted to go visit O Block, but her team “refused” to let her. She even jokingly said that she had the “t-shirt and everything.”

“I just tried to go to the Oblock, my whole team completely said they refuse to let me go I mean I got the T-shirt and everything.”

Michelle also added that they had a debate in the car about her “street cred.” She cited how she has some, due to her being from Memphis. She’s sad that no wouldn’t “take her to the O,” but is confident about finally going one day. Michelle also told a fan that she will make sure to go early in the day.

Lil Durk attempted to buy O Block in late April, but he lost the bid. It will reportedly be “disbanded and relocated,” according to SayCheese.
